You stay in charge

You sign off every answer before it goes live and can see every conversation. A complaint, a discount request, or a question outside your approved answers goes straight to you. Customer details are handled under POPIA, with consent and opt-outs, and are never sold.

What DeskOnCall will not do

• Give medical, financial or legal advice.
• Ask for a diagnosis, symptoms, history or photos.
• Quote a price that you have not approved.
• Offer a discount. Discount requests are passed to you.
• Sell personal information.

Your customers' details

Your business decides why a customer's contact details are needed. DeskOnCall uses them to run the chat, the booking, the confirmation and the reminder. That use is limited to your account, and the default retention is 365 days. The privacy notice is the summary you accept with the terms at checkout.

Healthcare

Healthcare businesses have their own page. They can start a 14-day free trial, and the desk stays closed to customers until the POPIA review for that business is finished.
